Up until yesterday we've had Rebel (GCC) and Barney (green quaker) out separately. Reason, first time they were out together Rebel took all baby revenge (Barney caused a few bruised toes when Rebel and siblings landed on his cage while learning to fly) and launched himself at Barney. Decided yesterday to just let them sort it out. Well of course it took place on top of the curtains, but I had a large stick handy to separate them if it got too nasty. Result, lotsa beaking, Rebel finally got pushed off the curtain rod and put firmly in place. He then proceeded to sit on hubbys shoulder and yell at Barney from a slightly safer distance. I'm sure there will be a few more clashes as these 2 sort things out but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I just haven't got the time atm to have them out separately constantly so figure they can learn to deal with each other hopefully without too much damage.

Good to hear you use beaking :)for it's good for them to sort out themselves(as long as it's only beak) and the stick even better just in case like you mentioned, well done

They're both arrogant little sods. Barney epitomizes the worst of quakers with his behaviour. The only thing he hasn't started doing (touch wood) is yanking out his feathers. Rebel is your typical GCC. Enjoys pushing boundaries, stirring and gets firmly put back in place. And on the stick thing. Quietly, quietly, I've threatened to go to the local Horseland and buy a riding crop to sort out the human boys a few times. Naturally one should never beat ones children but I believe you may still threaten.
