lol yeah the hyacynths are very "expensive" and probably hard to feed as my understanding is they eat palm nuts.

Not to mention there's very few of them in Australia. I've heard that a hy hen goes for $120 000

I heard they are about $50,000 cos there are only 20 in the country and their diet is very expensive too...and i dont mean stupid little lotto, i mean the jackpot!! Million dollar lotto stuff lol. Thats dream bird im most likely to get, my others are ridiculous lol, I want a eagle and an albatros so the hy is more likely...and less likely lol.

Ya think I could have an albatros??? Awesome! I personally think that getting a macaw even a mini macaw is never gonna happen...sucks!!! I love the hy's though. How come we don't get them from america??

Because we have strict import laws, and they are for the better hopefully if ebag is a sucess we can import some more birds. There is a place with Albotrosses in Tassie, but they are not a pet bird and neither is an eagle (of any sort)

There is an australian species of Spoonbill the royal spoonbill which is common in Softbill Watefowl keepers, no was can we get toucans or toucanettes, I think oyu should have a look on the DEH and cuustoms webites there more info there and the ebag stuff
