Once upon a time there was a Eckie hen named Bella. She was a lonely little girl 
so a mate was sort for her. After much seeking and searching a fine looking fellow by the name of Wacca was found all the way from the sunshine state of QLD. 
A quick trip on a plane and Wacca arrived to his new destination way down south in NSW. Of course Wacca could not just move in with Bella, he had to go through a "quarantine" process first. After what seemed like forever to Wacca, he was finally allowed to "meet" his wife-to-be.
But alas, things did not go as smoothly as Bellas "parents" had hoped.
Wacca was a bit of a "rough" boy and poor Bella being the delicate flower she is, didn't take to kindly being chased all around their new home. Besides Bella had her wings clipped from her previous home and her beautiful plumage had not yet grown back. So giving him the "slip" proved a bit difficult and she ended up on the floor. 
When Bellas "parents" seen this, Wacca was banished to the "dungeon" cage, to reflect on his actions toward their "daughter".
After a few weeks in the "dungeon" cage, where Bella could still see him, Bellas "parents" decided to give Wacca another try to prove his worth.
Yesterday was the "reunite" day. Wacca had to be on his best behaviour as Bellas "parents" were watching him like a hawk! After countless checks, night began to fall. Then the "parents" decide to do one more check before bed and noticed Bella had kicked Wacca out into the cold end of the aviary under the stars while she had the cosy end near food and shelter.
Then today, one of the "parents" saw love was beginning to show. Wacca was inching his way over to Bella, but Bella was still a bit weary of Waccas intention and gave him the evil "pin" eye. But Wacca showed his bravery and continued to walk to Bella. Just before he reached her he stopped, leaned forward and gave an almighty "SQUARK"!
Bella replied in her "parents" tongue and said, "aarrgghhhh" 
in her best pirate voice. With that Wacca leaned forward and rubbed his beak gently on hers, (in an eskimo way). Romance had blossomed and with that Bella whispered in Wacca ear in return for his "kiss" 
. Seeing this made the "parents" very happy indeed. ;D ;D 
So now preparation is to be made for the arrival of little Bellas & Waccas in the, hopefully, end of the year. ;D
