Ok so I am thinking dad will get over it...he seems to be settling down cos he see's how tame she is getting I think. Anyway.
You could not at all tell that this bird wasn't handled. She is just the cutest thing...she doesnt sit on hands or shoulders yet but she snuggles into your clothes and plays with your hair and LOVES scratches! She has still not bitten me and is just adorable. We finally have a name for her YAY...she is called Beetle.
It is to go with what my ekkie will be called (when i move out). But it suits her, she's a little cutie.
Anyways thats it for now. Will keep you updated on her.

No my ekkie is going to be called Kombi. That's why i named her beetle cos she can be the little VW hehe. So Beetle Matches Kombi. Still hasn't bitten me. Was playing with my bass pick this morning, she's so cute...i wish i knew the people i got her from to ask them if they are sure she hasnt had human contact. She sat on my hand for about 5 seconds YAY and on my shoulder for a few minutes last night..she's settling WOO HOO!

She is sitting in my lap now, ah she is so cute!!! Everyone loves her...Matches is in her cage cos she has parrot playschool this afternoon so I wont keep her out all day. They both had showers this morning, Matches loved it as usual but Im not sure what Beetle thought of it...i might try a bath for her next time.

some birds do prefer to bath. Why not try a gentle mist of spray on her from a spray bottle. Some birds love that too. Skye prefers to bath under the hose.

My GCCs tend to prefer the water dish dive. they don't really get into misting. Dish of water however and they're happy and rather soggy little vegemites.
