Here is my small confession. I got them from the RSPCA. Yes I did my good deed for the bird world and I'm giving them a good home. The person that had them surrendered them because they couldn't care for them. Two males and a female. Will have to get another female although the two males seem to like each other they have even been feeding each other. I have not had budgies for about 45 years so I have forgotten the way they behave but it should be fun. Here's some pics    |

they are lovely ollie i did that recentky got my pair of lovies from the rspca dont they ask alot of questions but thats good means they are carefull where they place them

They are very nice looking guys.I have adopted a few more myself..And I am heading to buy a heap more tomorrow.I would have given you a female for your other male.But I am so short on girls.There must be more males budgies out there then females.

thanks for sharing them with us ollie personally i don't think that you have to confess this time as you were only acting in the best interest of the great looking budgies so i think we will let you get away with it this time

That pied male is just beautiful!!!!! If he ever becomes a daddy and the kids look like him I'd love to be in line for the opportunity! I have never seen that colour. They look really healthy too. Well done

Hi Motherhen, If you find any spare females in your travels tomorrow let me know. I need a mate for the spare cock. Not really worried about colour but one with yellow might be nice.

I picked up the new ones.Most are males..grrr.If I needed males I would have got mostly girls..Always the way.It will not be to long till I put up boxes for my other ones..

Addition to confession!!! ;D ;D
Went to Jimboomba markets today to see my friend who sells his birds there. Got myself a nice hen to go with the blue pied cock and now everyone in the budgie aviary is happy. Haven't got a photo yet but she is a nice olive green so should get some interesting babies.
