;D I just rang a pet shop 6 hours drive south of me and asked about a cockatoo I was told about in the shop. OMG I need to be slapped. I have not bought him but I am seriously considering it. I am not going to Brisbane until early October for a volleyball comp but if he is still there (and I seriously doubt he will be) then I will have a look at him. He sounds lovely. He is not a baby, but that does not worry me as long as I think I can handle him and he can fit into our family. My only worry is that he is a biter or a bad screamer- they say he isn't - that is just the only thing i worry about, oh and disease also. I can handle noise - Skye screams and she can be ear piercing. I would really like to handle him before i buy him so i will have to see if I can get down there sooner. Just thought I would share this in the "confessional" - now I need to tell my hubby (oh it's his birthday, maybe I could say this is your birthday present. LOL) yeah that would work, I am the animal person. He loves them, it is just me that trains, feeds, cleans handles etc etc. "here darling, I bought this bird for you to admire". LOL ;D
