arrrr the smell of seed and fresh dog biscuits, the twittering of birds ...i remember it all.....lucky you ;D ;D Amanda...have fun...( yep I owned a petshop for 7 years LOL..its the dog biscuits I still smell lol )

LOL I know what you mean. Especially when your stocking shelves all day and at 7pm your bagging dog biscuits and all you've had is a yoghurt all day.....gee they smell so good then! I am absolutely LOVING it! I'm so very sore after a huge sale today but I can't wait for it all to happen again tomorrow! MY feet are on the verge of detatching from my body and dying on the floor but I have loved it so much. Poor Aussiebirds member Viraba didn't recognise me because of the get up I was wearing! I asked him how his birthday was and it finally registered who it was! I've been catching birds and fish, testing water and giving advice and I am in Heaven. I am really loving this smile on my dial! Can't wait till payday there is this huge cage.......... |

i got a job in a big pet shop before i started at dreamworld was so excited until i found out i had to look after the spider section too and we all know how i feel about spiders lol so i quit before i started  |

You should have seen this lady !!!!!!!! Looked like a cat in a canary cage ?? .............dressed like a gypsy or clown or something like that and she expected me to recognise her. I haven't got a chanced of getting any decent birds from this pet shop ever again .........she's going to pinch them all before I even get there ?

Great news, Amanda! I want * a new LARGE (for all the extra birds I'll get) walk-in avairy with a safety area * A variety of tiels, including whiteface silvers, lutinos, albinos, pied, reverse pied, pearl pied, normal greys etc etc * A couple of dozen lovebirds of various colour and type * 8-10 travel cages, playgyms, toys, feeders, ladders.... * lots of raising formula..... ;D AND the list goes on, and on.................  ;D |

what a merry christmas I'm having this year!!! Went in there this afternoon, just to find out.... and I'll put it in the terms the bastard wouldn't say, that my services are no longer required. I don't think he likes me, it doesn't pay to have management experience because you start to question other's expertice. So I'm back on the job market.......again. PS I'm never going back to that store unless it's a sunday or a monday..... because HE won't be there! loved that job before the new manager came makes me never want to work again PS Jenn, I wish Jamie didn't leave |
