Time to make my confession . Yesterday Laraine came to my place and got a Lutino red rump hen off me so that left me one short of a pair in the aviary, which i didn't mind because i wanted to get rid of related birds so they weren't inbreeding. I rang better birds at revesby this morning and yes he had two red rumps a cockbird normal split to yellow, he said, and a pied hen!!! off i went to buy the hen and only the hen......so i thought. I am not a weak person by any means ....BUT..... he just happened to have the most beautiful white face cockatiel cockbird and an albino hen that just happened to be the last two in the shop. So yep I got the redrump AND the cockatiel pair .....oh well they are really nice birds..........oh and I have arranged to get a lutino hen from Laraine when it has fully fledged ....... GOD I'm pathetic ;D ;DJohn

Oh dear John what will we do with you. You'll just have to pack them up with their cages and send them to me I didn't just say that out loud did I? Oh well Your just a sucker for a pretty face, we all are in the end They are beautiful and I can't wait to see their babies later

The best thing about the whole exercise is they have all paired up with their prospective partners. I was going to give them some time together to get to know each other by themselves but it doesn't look like they will need it. Next breeding season is going to be so good I am really looking forward to it. We have finally got the colour combinations we were looking for and when we get that Lutino hen from Laraine everything will be set. Here is the Albino hen she's the one in the middle

John, you need professional help, you too Acaciawattle. LOL. They are beautiful birds John. Seeing everyones different birds is making it difficult to choose what kind I'm going to get for my first pet bird as opposed to my rescued wild birds.
Cheers, Jules
