More Beaks to feed!

Well I went to the Beenleigh bird sale on Saturday, not that I need any more birds, but thought I'd see if anyone had a white fronted blue scarlet cock ( I have a lonely hen) or any princess parrots. Well no scarlets or princess parrots at all
But who can go home with an empty cage?
I bought a pair of Diamond doves. How cute are these little doves??? I hadn't seen them before they are beautiful. And I also bought 2 pied bush budgie hens. I had bought some baby bush budgies a few months ago who turned out to be 2 boys so now they have some girlfriends. Even fully grown bush budgies are tiny compared to the other budgies we're used to seeing.

If space and money weren't an issue I could have bought some lovely finches too....
So next week I'm off to Beaudesert sale, I'll report progress.......

I know, I'm a hopeless case. Birds are just so lovely I can't help myself. A few years ago I was wanting acreage for more horses now I want bigger aviaries. LOL

Had to laugh my mum came over the other day and noticed that my fridge has more sprouts & vegies etc for my birds than human food! Oh well can't have my birdies going without.

yes while I was shopping today I overheard a lady talking about her own shopping and she said "gee i have more animal food than human food". i looked at my stuff and thought "gee I buy a lot of this fruit and veges ........ fresh and frozen ........... for my birds............as well as lamb hearts, tripe, chicken frames etc". LOL
