well well i can tell this is going to be a good hobby if i already need to confess...

i used deception to get my first aviary/birds. oops not a good start.

as some of you know i breed chickens... well i found an aviary (included where birds but i tried to hide that fact) for sale and said that it will be a useful pen in the breeding season and i MAY be able to breed them sell the birds to make a bit of cash...

anyone have any unwanted finches in the south Vic area (m'ton peninsula) lol

my parents were hoping i would stop at chooks...

i just had dad suggesting mabe breeding birds instead of chooks... haha i said they can live in harmony.. i'm looking at getting more birds by the way

I'm sure we've all tried the excuse, well I have to get him/her a partner I tried to declare I didn't need to but any more birds this year and since then bought 5 diamond doves ( went to buy a partner for a single one I had) and a white fronted blue scarlet and a opaline turq. oops

i've already sent multiple emails to breaders asking if i can buy etc. talking to a friend and may do some swaps:D
my poor parents... didn't know what was starting.
i am looking at plans for another smaller cabinet to hold the young (wouldn't want inbreeding now would we )
