Went down to a pet shop, went to look at the bird's as usual...When all of a sudden, this English Budgie spotted me... He insisted i had to take him home, i said NO in a firm voice.. But this little bugger somehow jumped in the carry box.. and end's up at my house.. I still have no idea how he managed to do that!!
Not sure what mutation he is, but I'm 99.9% sure his a male, and his a very big boy, and very vocal!
Oh and will post pic's soon.

English budgies were mutated/bred from the aussie bush ones, so it's fine. :3

One would assume though that the dominant colour will be green only as you will be putting the native gene so to speak back into the hybrid

Green's always dominant in budgies, isn't it? He's a right cutie

At a guess I'd say yes. BUT that dominance would drop of time if you continually bred lets say blues together from the same lines for a decent period of time. There would still be the occassional green but after probably 5 gen's it would drop markedly I beleive.
I have a colour of bantams (line) here that have been specific colour bred for about 15yrs and occassionally I have been told they may throw out aanother colour but only rarely.... and the colour that might appear is not a dominant colour.

Opps I mean't to put in that post that John (or another budgie breeder) will be the best to get an anwser off though as he breeds budgies.
