My friend had a tiel that was making a huge racket every morning from very early to the point that no one could sleep so she asked me if I wanted Coco. I had to say yes, didn't I? She thought that Coco was a boy but he? is at least 14 months old and still has pearling so I figure that maybe Coco is a girl. Anyway, here's a couple of pics of our new addition.

I love the cinnamon pearls Coco is gorgeous Jules, does the pearling extend off the wings? the boys can still have pearl wings, but the easiest way to know is whistle a tune to him/her if Coco lifts the wings to respond then Coco's a boy. The girls will make some noise but only the boys will lift the wings and respond to you

Very pretty girl. I love the cinns too and the pearling is just lovely. However due to real estate I may just stick with my greys, w/f and pastel face although...

I tried the whistle thing Jane and all she did was cock her head to the side and watch me intently, Brandy the dirty grey girl did the same thing. Oh and I've just noticed on Brandy a white spot on the back of her head so that means she's split to pied ;D

Hahaha Trace, I only noticed the spot a few weeks ago. I also had a better look at Coco this morning and she has pearling on her back as well. I tried the whistle thing again this morning with the same reaction. I suspect the noise she was making was calling out for company as she was kept in the back section of my friends house by herself. Whatever noise it was I haven't heard it but here she is in the cage with Brandy, next to Elmo and my pc and kitchen so she's never on her own. They looked after her really well but she didn't get the attention she needed.
