Ok those who know probably won't be surprised at what I'm about to say...no I haven't done anything....yet. I am seriously looking at getting an amazon in about 2-3years. Priorities this year are a new girl sun for Diego, maybe (big maybe) another pair of GCCs (probably cinn girl and double split boy) and that's it for the year. Honest it is. We absolutely have to get this extension done on the house so the birds...oops children...have more room so it's very much down the track. That is the big priority so have to behave. That and I'm pretty darn happy and settled with what I've got. I've been talking to people with both zons and greys as of course I worry that my sensitive little boy will have a complete neurotic grey breakdown but sounds like it should be ok. At any rate apart from the aforementioned 3 (and not firm about the GCCs yet) that should be it for me for at least the next couple of years until the zon happens. ;D Hows that for a confession?

"Thats all for this year" hmmm I think I've heard that one before Mary LOL Which zon are you wanting? That would be so cool if it all works out with the extension going ahead without a hitch, then you can get him/her.

Yeah I know. Heard it all before. Strangely enough I'm pretty settled with what I've got atm. I'd like to add a pair of black headed caiques down the track but we're talking 5+ years there. As for the zon...still researching what will fit in best with Arthur. I do like the BF but wonder if they nmay be too in your face for my baby boy to cope with. The yellow naped and double yellow headed whilst firm favourites of mine are fairly pricey and I love the red lored but not sure who's breeding them and dread the price. Plenty of time to do some more research. I'm just as likely to end up with an Ekkie boy instead if the youngest child gets his own way.

yes I know, I know. I'm too stupidly honest not to blab too. Side note, this does not include birdies bred on my premises that just have to stay here for whatever reason I can come up with at the time. So we have a sunny girl and maybe another pair of GCCs. That's now in writing. Lets see what happens over the next 353 days and whether for once I can behave.

There is no way in the fires of eternity Arthur will be going anywhere. Good try Greg. Anyway he's such a mummys boy. I'm really researching on the Amazon because I don't want my baby boy to suffer. From what I'm finding out from some of the Americans it's more like Arthur would give the zon a run for it's money anyway. I'm in a bit of a dilemma with the suns too. The infection Diego had last year really knocked him around so I'm not sure whether health wise he'll be up to the task of fatherhood. That would still be 2 years away if I get a girl from this season. Oh decisions decisions. Not quite sure what to do. He does need a companion as you can see he's craving it with the quakers and nandays who are either side of him.
