 Found this little girl today- she isnt a happy chappy!  you see the bandage on her is placed a bit weirdly- that is because she keeps trying to rip her wing to shreds, she is biting it really hard! im imagining it must be very painful- the bandage placement isnt affecting any of her normal activities though- or compressing her crop and its holding her wing in the appropriate place. i dont know if shell survive the whole ordeal of having a broken wing plus i think she is dehydrated and a bit hungry (given food and water) if she does pull through i dont think she will fly again, but if shes not going to fly she can be slacks friend of she can go to someone who has a nice little boyfriend for her |

I like that pink crate thing....the galah we had was a rescue too, she broke her wings (hit by a car) and would never be able to fly again so it was either we take her or she would be put down..she turned into a great bird! Became tame towards adults (didnt like kids though). She looks very pretty though, good on you for taking her.

Galahs can be shockers for mutilating themselves after injury. Fingers crossed she pulls through. Getting a bandage to stay on is half the battle lol  |

She is still alive and going well- i have moved her into a different cage so she caan walk around and climb around on them perches in there- i checked her wing today (the underside of it) and the damage there seems to be healing, im hoping the break will heal properly. i had a larger bandage on her but she just pulled it staright off lol ;D so she has one the same as the photo for now lol she is still trying to bite at her wing- i have covered it up so now sh is just biting the bandage
