We were overseas and had a 3 month old baby blue quaker kept in a separate cage as she wasn't ready to go into the main bird room. She somehow managed to get out of her cage through a food door and was flying freely around the hall. When the birdsitter came over, she flew out the back door and since she wasn't clipped got over the fence to the neighbor's yard and disappeared. I am offering a $100 reward. I am hoping someone has found her and she is in someone's home because I don't think she would last long out in the wild. Please calll 0422 489645 I have an ad in the local Quest paper as well coming out on Wednesday.

No news, no phone calls. I have her on the RSPCA site and in the local paper that goes to all houses in the surrounding suburbs. If someone had her, they would have found my ad by now. I have a horrible gut feeling I am not going to get her back.

I'm sorry to hear that Tara - hopefully she found a family to take care of her anyway. I've heard of some birds being found nearly three hours away from where they escaped. So I just hope that she was found and by someone who will take care of her.
