Paswell are OK - better than Vetafarm but maybe not quite as good as Roudybush from my experience with all three over time.

Some Vetafarm products are excellent, and I use, some I've had issues with. My experience with pellets is based on my own and customer feedback over many years, especially with breeding birds.
Anyone who does use Vetafarm might like to hear that they are increasing wholesale prices by 12% on 1st July and that will filter through to a hefty retail price increase during the winter so if you use Vetafarm pellets it may be worth stocking up in June. It will make their prices comparable to Roudybush which look like holding current prices until the end of the year.

Here in SA Vetafarm and passwell are certainly more easily available and are produced in Australia.
My lorikeets get the Passwell dry which is the only one they'll eat. Little sods will starve themselves first rather then try anything else. For pellets I swap between the vetafarm South American and avian nutrition. Both seem to be liked and consumed. I'm sticking with the Dr Macs grey specific for my grey as he likes them and I'm happy with the product (just not the cost). Possum products are all Wombaroo (part of passwell) although I'm pretty sure Passwell wombaroo are the only ones who put this type of thing out (Ben please correct me if I'm wrong).
I use the Roudybush handraising formula and have to get it from a distributor. The freight sucks but I've been really happy with the results. I prefer it to the vetafarm and can't stand the passwell one.

Mary, Biolac makes milk replacers for kangaroo joeys of different ages but I'm not sure about possums. I used Wombaroo for Bella and Biolac for TJ last year. I've never tried any of the pellets or crumbles though I'm considering buying a box of Passwells to try out on my lot. My lori loves the Passwells lori mix but will also eat Sheps. I usually use Vetafarm Neocare for handraising. Part of the reasons for my choices is simply availability. A lot of the products talked about we just can't get down here where I am.

Divetalact is also a milk replacer that is reasonable for marsupial babies too mary, but i also prefer the wombaroo- havent tried the biolac yet, i will have to but ;D, Ive been reading up on pelltes a bit since i am thinking of putting slack onto them since he doesnt like fruit and veges much and will only eat them if i sit wiht him and make sure he does (instead of letting him bury them and chuck them around) the harrisons pellets and the Dr macs sound good so far, ive tried passwells with him but he didnt even try them lol

I gotta say that I'm not a fan of Divetelac though some people swear by it.

I'm not furry raising atm (sure someone will take care of that ) so will keep in mind the Biolac. I think the wombaroo is probably easier to get hold of though.
