Well that was 2 and a half minutes of my life wasted! My fish shows more animation than those birds.

Trueloveaviary you being from NC made me think of the good ol food I miss. Y'all got the best catfish, blue gill, hush puppies and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. How can you go wrong with that. I have to admit, your BBQ needs some work though, KC style is wayyyyy better lol.

Summit, can you please explain biscuits and gravy? I've always wondered what they were, and grits?

OK, first off let me explain. When I first heard of biscuits and gravy I was thinking something like ..... say a morning coffee or ryvita or something and brown gravy. (I didn't know at that time) Now this may sound disgusting, and I agree, but it is by far the best breaky ever ! A biscuit is similar to a flaky scone for want of a better description. The closest description is a cross between scone and croissant. The gravy is similar to a beschemel (sp?) sauce with sausage mince. Grits ................. flat disgusting. I never found any I could eat. It's kinda like porridge, with chunky globules in it. I tell ya, perkins paste tastes better than that cra............. crazy stuff.

I would like to respond to above. I am thrilled to see Trueloveaviary here again. His was the most exciting site I had seen on Lovies as companions.Sorry ,those who are breeders. But there was hardly anything ,before they came along.I endorse their mission. But they don't just have Lovies on their site. They also have Cockatiels and Budgies and they know what these birds are. They have also had other birds and have other birds on their site. Not all birds are as animated as others . We all have our preferences. What was nice with the link above, was that a Cockatiel was playing near two Budgies. That is what is so cute.It is not somehing you normally see. Best Robert and Precious

Ya'll are so sweet. Thanks for the compliments on our site! It has been crazy busy around here! We will try to be on here more!!!
As for good ole Southern American Food.... You have to have my Momma's grits!! They are delicious, not chunky at all. But it is a matter of preference. I like to mix butter, salt and bacon or sausage in my grits! It is super yummy that way!!
Ya'll are really missing out on biscuits!! They are delicious too!! Pillsbury brand is my favorite, but they still can't beat homemade biscuits with some nice country ham in it!!

I can't watch anything on you tube, because of my dial up speed......very frustrating when everyone is always talking about what is on there. I checked out the web-site though, excellent I think. As the name states - Truelove - what could a bird want more. I know I thrive on truelove.
