Does anyone know how to put Tabs into a message? It would make it much better for setting out a small table such as I posted to the Polls section.
cheers,
Mike

I don't know if it works or not but if you either start 'New Thread' or choose 'Reply' in the bottom RHS of a thread instead of the 'quick reply box' there are some options in add tags that may help (or may not ) like insert list and insert table?

I just use the space bar........I know, the simple way out. lol Space bar didn't work - it just stripped out the extra spaces. For example 10 spaces put in after example in the above line I put 10 spaces after the word example and it stripped out all but one of them. Similarly Jane, there seem to be no options in the full reply menu (which I always use) to add a Tab. The only solution I can think of is to use dots instead of spaces. So my table that started my quest for a Tab would look like: Parrot - exotic ...................... 52,500 Parrot - native ..................... 62,500 Lovebird .............................. 45,000 Cockatiel ........................... 170,000 Budgie ............................... 315,000 Finch - native ..................... 230,000 Finch - exotic ..................... 240,000 Canary ................................ 25,000 other (doves, quail etc) ........ 40,000 It works but a Tab would be neater. cheers, Mike

Did you try the table option in the full reply box?

Did you try the table option in the full reply box? No, it seems to work only when entering new information whereas I had pasted in from elsewhere and couldn't make the table function fit the data cheers, Mike
