Hello everyone, We are new members as of today. We love our birds. We breed and sell - budgies, cockateils, princess parrots (normals and blue), galahs, long billed corella, short bill corellas, canaries, bourke parrots (normals, splits, rosas, pinks, creams), kakarikis, green cheek conures, plumhead parrots, blue indian ringnecks, lutino indian ringnecks, and we have a number of finches ( mainly for the kids). We handraise a lot of young and these move quickly. Breeding season is a real busy time for us with handraising and special feeds we do for them. (The birds eat better than us.) As you can guess we are busy busy busy with our menagerie. We are looking forward to learning about the site and the forums.

Welcome to Aussiebirds Wattwings, I hope you have a great time here. I'm very jealous of your collection - especially the kakarikis! They always seem like such fun-loving little guys. I don't know much about them though - do they have any special care requirements?

Wow, thanks for the welcome. We live in Dalby in Qld. Yes we do have a lot of birds. We have sold a few recently though. I neglected to tell you we also have a 19 year old cockatoo. He is a great snake alert bird. Yes we get a lot of them here. We also have dogs, chooks, turkeys, guinea fowl, lambs, guinea pig and horses. I am on the lookout for a couple of potty calves now too. I am my own worst enemy. We love our animals. Re the kakarikis, they don't get any special treatment. They are real characters. Well I do feel very welcome and I hope to post more messages soon... Many thanks Lizzie

Hello and welcome wattwings. You flock sounds like plenty of hard, but rewarding, work. I'm in NSW at the moment but my parents are still in QLD. We pass through Dalby when visiting them.

:)Hello, pinkdevil,,, Just send a message next time you are coming through and you are quite welcome to drop in for a chat and have a look at our birds. My husband does most of the work... I do all the handraising though and do try and help him as much as I can. We also have 3and half year old twin boy and girl so I get kept busy with them too. Catch ya up later. Lizzie
