Please I am after a simple egg and biscuit recipe. We buy ours in a 10kg lot around $35.00... I believe I can do it cheaper.. To me there is only breadcrumbs, dried egg powder, poppy seed, calcium powder and multivitamin. The seller has not let on what is in his supply. Is there anyone that has the recipe I can use. Thankyou

I doubt it - $35 is pretty cheap and at that price I would suspect it contains no egg at all since dried egg powder is expensive. I buy a good quality mix and even at wholesale it costs me $34 for 10 kg. If you factor in the time and expense of buying the ingredients, mixing them etc then it is easier to buy it ready mixed. I would suggest getting a better quality mix though - that is just too cheap to be a good mix.
cheers,
Mike

:oThanks for the replies guys.... We just picked up 10kg from our supplier and it has gone up to $40.00 for the bag... This person actually does supply our produce shops and breeder clubs so you would think it should be good but I have been having my doubts that is why I would like to make my own so I know what our birds are actually getting... To me it seems like a lot of filler (breadcrumbs) than anything else. I'll do some experimenting and see how I go cost wise and time wise. Thanks again Lizzie
