I'll be gone for 2-3 weeks soon... I'm going on a Japan trip, remember? Thankfully I have raised enough money. I'm leaving on the 13th of September. Thank you all for supporting me by buying a bird training booklet lol. Anyway, I was just wondering, if I left this long, would Bicki forget me? When he just got weaned, I had to leave for 3 weeks to the Philippines, and when I came back, I dunno, I think he was like "who is this?" and then was like "ooo! This person is nice!" Because he acted all neautral but then fell in love. What do you guys think?

Bickitrainer,Have you got someone to play with him, while you are gone.Bicki will need human company.Even if initially it might take a little while for him to catch on and get back to normal with you. from Robert and Precious

Yeah, I'd suggest that you have someone interact with him while you're gone. Also - this may sound silly, but perhaps record your voice to be played to him while you're gone? Just to remind him of you, I guess. I do know that when I had an emergency trip back to Mackay last year while I was sick Anath and Jedi definitely remembered me when I got back - and they were both pissed that I'd left them for a couple of weeks. Took a couple of days of some hard grovelling and lots of treats before they wanted anything to do with me, haha.

Yes of course, my sisters and my mum will be at home while I'm at Japan. They don't play with Bicki as much as me, but I did tell them to play with him.
Lol that's actually a good idea to play my voice lol!!
What about if I put a picture of me there? Can birds see things in pictures? Can they interpret what is on that flat piece of paper?
