I know we need the rain but does it need to come back with such vengence We've had 72mm here in the last 2 days and it has just plain p****d down. Just heavy rain that blows in every direction. After I was so happy a few days ago to set up all those turqs one of my yellow cockbirds died last night He was one I bred here 2 years ago and this was the first year I'd found him a wife I don't mean to sound ungrateful to the Rain Gods but could we please have it a little more gently.

oh that is sad Jane. Yes the rain can be great. But sometimes it sucks.

I'm sorry to hear that Jane. Hopefully all your others get through the weather fine.

That is sad news. My heart goes out to you and your little feathered friends. What an unfortunate loss. As for the rain, send it down my way. We have had a total of 29mm to date, and we could certainly use a whole lot more.

Oh no, sorry to hear that Do you think it was the weather that contributed? Yes, my experiances with neophemas are they can handle very hot or very cold just NO dampness I have them in aviaries closed on 3 sides to molly coddle them and facing either north or east but the rain was so heavy and gusty the floors all looked pretty wet, the birds themselves were dry. Thanks for your caring everyone
