Hi Sonya and welcome. I agree with not talking in caps if you can avoid it - I have trouble reading the text when it's like that haha. My eyes, they are horrible. You aren't the only one around here getting a sun conure soon. If everything goes well for Kat (Birdlady) she'll be getting one soonish too. From memory Lisa and Abby also have suns, although don't quote me on that. My memory is about as bad as my eyes, haha.

welcome Sonya. Can't wait to see pics of your babies. Sunnies are a lovely looking bird aren't they. Yes Mary and Lisa do own some, Mary and Mike (avinet) also own african greys oh and Clara (from France) owns a couple of greys also. Oh and "speaking in capitals" is easy on my eyes lol ;D but yes it can be seen as yelling in the cyberworld

Welcome to the clan, we are all happy, crazy, birds freaks here. Hope you enjoy your time with us.
I have a pair of suns that are hand-reared. They are in my aviaries, everyday I spend time with them, it wouldn't be the same if I didn't get a kiss from them. They are very demanding for attention, so I hope you have a lot of spare time on your hands. Having said that I spend a lot of time with all my birds - they really are my life.

Thankyou all for the warm welcome. Have you noticed , no more capitals. The old eyes aint what they used to be so there might be a typo here and there. My sunnie is one week old I am so excited I will ask the breeder if she can send me pics of him when he is a little older so I can post them. I only work part time so I will be able to spend a lot of time with the little guy. Sonya

I work part time too Sonya and I still spend time with my birds.......just not as much I as used to. I take Erik the eclectus bub I am handraising at the moment to work with me. He is a very well travelled little boy. He goes to the shops with me too as I live out of town and need to do some running around after work before getting home to pick up my little boy.
Yes I can't wait for pics of your new bub too.
psssst (I wear my glasses sometimes when my eyes play up lol ;D ..... I try not to wear them but sometimes I just have to, especially when at work, I need to see the tiny numbers on the paint machines otherwise the customers might go home with pink paint instead of cream ;D )
