I drove ;D ..............further than I've ever been (the timid/incompetent driver that I am) on my own ....to get me a little something ;D It is an unexpceted addition to my already "planned tame birds list"....the list as it stands....a sun conure, a pastel-blue irn, a blue-masked lovebird.....and now, my latest but first addition to this list........ . . . . yep, I got me another GCC ! ;D (well, I guess you could say, I really DID, do a meandem, this time ;D) I wasn't planning on getting another GCC but I still miss my Pinchy so much and I have been sooo ridiculously desperate for a companion bird....I couldn't wait till the others got born/hatched. He/she just came home tonight. I ofcourse got lost getting to the place and had to stop at a servo to ask for directions but a good-samaritan (customer) offered to show me the way, so I followed her car for a while ;D...and got there in peace. Got lost again coming home...had no idea where I was, wanted to cry ....but I got home in the end....and with my GCC still alive . THANK GOD for street directories....even if they only half help me, since I still get lost......or am I just being a typical female ? ;D No comments needed, here ;D His/her name is Rhubarb. Can you guess why? As the celebrity parents do, no photos of their babies go public... ok, well not just yet, I'll give him/her a few days to get used to me first before I start poking the camera in his/her little face. Rhubarb is 8 weeks old.

Would he/she be called Rhubarb because of the tail feathers? ;D Oh and of course I guess it is just like calling your baby "apple" or "Sunday" lol "rhubarb" is right up there in the A list of names ;D (I do like the name actually ;D )

Happy to hear you've found another little birdy-bub Kat. Aren't green-cheeks great? Trouble is hanging off the roof of his 'with Mum' cage at the moment, chewing on some bottlebrush flowers I put in there and trying to sing along to the music I have with his mouth full. I love the name, and I'm sure you and Rhubarb will be great friends in no time.
