Yesterday we let our rainbow lorikeet go back to the wild. Lorrie, we called him, was injured in our backyard. He was fully healed and we put him in an aviary, so that he could develop his muscles again. We took him out on a perch out in the garden and stood back. He just stood there lol, preening. And then randomly, he just took off. It was nice to see him go.
