hey guys Im starting to get a lil worried that a pair i have eggs arnt going to hatch , she has three and im almost 100 percent sure that alll three have gone over around 27 days now. Can baby bird be late hatchers??? mumma bird is ectremly aggressive so i cant get to them to see if they are fertile or not??? Whats the best thing i should do? cheers .K.

I would either wait 'til she's off to check them and in unfertile throw them out since you're at 27 days or keep waiting and the hen will work it out herself soon. My hens this season I have given til 30 days in case my dates were wrong then taken the eggs. I do always break them so I know if they're clear or DIS dead in shell.

I would let her sit for a while longer. I normally let my canary sit until she decides to stop or if I decide it is long enough then I take the eggs out and check them/
My alex girl layed 4 eggs and they hatched well after their due hatch date........like about 1 week. They did all hatch too.
