I am getting a 6 month old Samueli Redtail Black "too cock!!!!!!!
He's parent Raised so will pair him up with a hen when hes a bit older. He's coming down from QLD and should be here within 2 weeks.

Some of the Biggest healthiest birds i have seen have been bred up there, Freddo came from the same breeder and if this redtail is as good as freddo i will be stoked!

Both hens in the photo, but could be samueli - the beak looks smaller than with naso, more like the samueli beak as far as can be seen.
Whose the breeder? - PM me if necessary.

I know they are both hens. I have only ever had Magnificus for samueli's will be new.

That's very exciting Ben ;D We saw a pair today of red tailed blacks, I'm not sure which species, wow they are BIG birds I hope he arrives safely for you

Mike I didn't know there'd be naso breeders in Qld. Yeah those beaks look smaller than naso beaks. They'd be my fave subspecies but maybe that's cos I'm a bit parochial since the naso's are only found here in SW WA. ;d

Some friends not far away have many of them and are breeding most at present. They currently have 7 baby Blacks in their family room being hand raised! We are going to visit them next week, should be interesting. I'll check if they have naso and take some photos if I can. cheers, Mike
