I went to the Beaudesert bird sale last weekend,& even though I got rid of some of my excess Quail & Diamond Doves I came home with more Gouldians, Pictorellas, Cubans & a male Kak
BUut I saw a Swift parrot he was beautiful I have never seen one before. ;D ;D

It's not a bad thing to buy birds, I seem to do it all the time. I'm on holidays and I have bought 8 birds already.

I have seen a number of Swifts for sale, unfortunately all I have ever seen are males. I imagine the females would be at least double that price. I wanted to go to the Beaudesert sale, unfortunately my car is so gutless at the moment and I might have had to push it home!  Great news getting some more of the birds you needed. It is like christmas getting all new birds in, you just want to sit and admire them all day.  I wanted another female princess parrot and some female Show quality budgies. Got to find someone to swap a couple of young bourke's with as my bubs are from the same parents. |

I didn't see many Princesses there but I could have missed them.
We are waiting on our Bourkes to bring some babies out, their last eggs were no good & she has at least 2 more eggs now
, I intend to go into town to see if I can get another cream hen for the spare male we have.
I did have fun at the sale though
