Hi everyone sorry I havent been around but I have been off the internet. I finally have my new Sunny (a big thanks to Robert) and his fearless nature just amazes me. He loves to run up my dressing gown sleave and out the front collar, then he likes to lay on his back in my hand and have a tummy tickle. He rolls around on my lap and has wrestling matches with my hands and when he is tired he Snuggels into my arm and goes to sleep, sooo cute. He never poos on me or in his birdy tent. I called him Cozzy and yes he has discovered he has a voice but so far he only yells when I use the vacume cleaner, and he joins the Cockatiels when they hear me come in the front gate (the welcome home song) with some good ground work hopefully he wont develope any bad habbits.

There is a link somewhere about how to post pics. But you can also just press on your browse button when you are writing a post and you can find a pic to download if you have any stored on your pc. It is best to resize them to a smaller size before trying to put pics up on forums. I resize mine to 800 (the longer side of the pic) X whatever it automatically resizes the smaller side to. Or you could open a photobucket account (which I also have) and they are free to store pics on. You can store pics on there then click on the IMG link then copy the link, then come back to your post and press cntl, alt and v at the same time and your copied link should then be pasted onto your post.

Welcome to the noisey world of Sun Conure ownership! lol Actually mine are not that bad except breaky, lunch and dinner time lol, otherwise they are fairly quiet. You will have a ball with Cozzy as they are very intellegent birds. They may be little in size but they make up for it in personality.

Funny you should say that, mine are only noisy at those times too............lol...........I only have to call out their names and they scream. They certainly have personality plus. ;D

He certainly does have personality plus like a big bird in a small package. Ive noticed that he likes to fly low to the ground compared to the Tiels, when he goes from one high spot to another he will swoop down and up. He is very skillful at flying low around the furniture for such a young bird and loves doing flybys past our face while on the computer, starting to get a bit cheeky I think Just out of curiosity do your Sunnies fly like this as well?

Mine are both hand-reared, but unfortunately they are both in the aviary. We bought them as quiet hand-reared breeders. They are only last years birds. They haven't lost the love of human touch, when I get in the aviary, they are both there for a kiss. I look forward every morning to going to the aviary and being greeted by Tequila & Daiquiri.
