It is hard when they are so young. I have lost a few young ones this season and it is not a good feeling. Hope the remaining birds are well for you,

The only thing that we can put it down to is flying into the wall and breaking the neck. Everything else seems to be OK. The remaining one in the aviary is going great guns, and the noisy little one inside here seems to be slow, but getting there. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear that I've had a few budgies that have been fine then all of a sudden died and a cockatiel that i was hand rearing that was about ready to go all of a sudden die we think he flew into the window earlier that day but I'm sorry to hear that

The two youngsters have now been sold. One of them extremely quiet because I hand-reared her, and her brother is just crazy. I'm hoping she talks to him a bit and tells him that us humans aren't their enemy.
