Well my darling little girl gave me four babies, and as you can see by the photo, both "first time" parents have done a wonderful job in creating these wonderful little creatures. They are all out of the nest now and flying happily around. I have handled them a bit so when I get in the aviary with them, they are happy to sit on your hands. I don't really want them as pets, but they would sure make a good pet for someone who is looking for one.  |

Yep, I am thinking I would like something in the green and yellow line to give colour to their section. Good suggestion, now all I have to do is find a pair.  |

Lut's are nice all yellow and I LOVE the greys but that is just me. Cute babies by the way and go you for talking the other half around!

I bred budgies as a kid, at one stage I had 50 of them. I still like them, but havent got any. I may breed some at a later date, they are nice birds

I always had budgies when I was a kid, but after a long break (but not too long  , 'cause I'm still really a kid at heart  ) I decided that it was time to have some budgies. They are always a crowd pleaser. And I always seem to have people asking me for a pet bird, one that they can handle, and without a lot of hand-rearing and hardwork with parrots, I can give away budgies knowing that they are going to remain a great pet. |

Sorry Ellen I only got to this just now, but OMG aren't they just the cutest ;D I love the colours too, such soft pastel colours and lovely big birds too.

I sold one the other day, the parents just wanted a budgie for their kids to have as a pet to look at and care for. They were thrilled when the little fella jumped on their hand and just sat there. I think he might end up being more than just a budgie in a cage. He has gone to a really good home.  |
