Some of you might have read my thread in the 'wanted' section. I'm looking for a handraised, tame bird. The bird would be outside most of the time where it would see all the other wild birds and my 2 IRN as well as the dogs playing ect. Plan is to take the bird in a harness with me in the morning when I walk the dogs and then have it with me until I go to work. I would then put him outside in his cage until I come back in the afternoon, taking it onto another walk with me and the dogs and then having it inside with me until it's bedtime.
What bird would be more suited? A Quaker or a Conure? I fell in love with a Sun Conure but also like the Quakers. Any advice from Sun Conure and Quaker owners???

I have no idea but I will probably myself buy a blue quaker one day as I just love the look of them and I love the sound of their personality. The sunnys can be LOUD. I have a friend who breeds them and OMG they are LOUD. ;D

Yeah but quakers can be just as loud! I have never heard of a quaker in a harness but have seen pictures of a sunny in a harness if that helps

any bird can be harnessed trained. Well maybe not any bird.....I would assume canaries and finches can't......but most parrots can be harnessed trained.
