In my research I have found a few different people saying to feed differnt birds different things. However I did find this info and thought I would share.
This is a freezable mash that is part from some people part from me researching and sorting this out. Tried it over the weekend, the Budgies are not sold but the Green Cheeks and Elmo are all up for it.
Soak Bean soup mix overnight (alternativly you can use snap dried beans) Soak Pigeon Racing Mix overnight (will expaned to twice it's size) Stem yams (Sweet patatos) Defrozed Mixed Frozen Veggies Frozen Corn Fresh Broccoli (choped fine) Red Chillies (chopped fine) red, green & Orange bell peppers (shopped fine) Undercooked whole grain pasta Undercooked rice
Mix and serve once cool. Alternatively you can put in freezer bags and freeze untill needed. I did not add the Pigeon mix as I had none of it but a few people have said that you should so put it in there if anyone wants to try.
Now for Sprouted Seeds.
A few people I have spoken to said they had issues with their seed going off, fungus growing on it etc...
So a trick, add a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinger to the mix (I have heard of people adding Bleach but I don't like that idea)
Soak overnight then drain and was seeds about three times a day for one or two days place in dark (or cover with a tea towel) and keep warm.
My green cheeks LOVE the sprouted seeds and beans.
