I got another pair of these the other day and the breeder told me that it was a male and female and it was all to do with the amount of Orange they had on their vent. But looking at the pair I got last week and this pair I think I now have three males one one female.
Can anyone tell me how to check or should I take pictures for you all?

Males are always brighter and thinking off hand I think males have alot more orange. If I get home before sunset tonight I'll go and have a look at my girls and boys and let you know.

Females' brow is lighter than a males. I had a look at my guys, the males have a reasonably bright orange spot. My adult girl is cinnamon so hers is really pale. The bubs don't have theirs yet. I've been able to sex my bubs by their head shape. Have a look in the for sale section, I've posted about swapping bourkes/elegants. I've got photo's of my baby girls and boy. The boys' head shape is longer than the girls. If you need extra help, post a picture up of them.

Cool thanks guys, I think I am going to post pictures of them and then get your help. The first pair I am sure are male and female but the second I have my doubts.

If they are adults it's easy to sex them. I didn't have trouble sexing my bubs when they were still in the box but maybe I got lucky.
