I am wondering at what age Princess Parrot babies wean. I have a baby being raised by a budgie mum and am assuming when it fledges she will stop feeding it. Her babies are about the same age.

Princess babies usually leave the nest at around 45 days old, and take another 15 to 20 days to fully wean. However being brought up by budgies may cause some problems. It is unlikely a budgie would keep up with the food requirements, especially since it would be wanting food after budgie babies would normally be weaned.
You will have to watch closely to make sure it doesn't go too hungry. In this situation I would be giving it a supplementary feed of hand rearing mix a couple of times a day. However a hungry baby can wean quicker - a greater incentive to learn how to feed itself, so if it does learn quickly you may not have such a problem develop. Just watch them closely.
cheers,
Mike

Thanks Mike. I was thinking I might need to handraise when the baby budgies fledge. It would only get 3 feeds a day as I work fulltime. Will this be enough?

It should be enough. I had a pair of budgies raising a red rump bub and they stopped feeding her at around 4-5 weeks of age.

3 feeds a day from 4 to 5 weeks would be fine - I would have them on 3 feeds by 4 weeks normally.
cheers,
Mike
