Peanut has finally laid her egg, it has been obvious for a while and i was geting very worried and was going to take her to the vet tomorrow, buts shes finally laid it, i can see another on the way allready.
im not expecting them to hatch but it would be great if they did!! she will be bought inside becuase i didnt even want them to breed in the heat but put the nest boxes in when i saw that pea was going to lay.
Swinging things, lovie tikki is also laying eggs! so peanut and tikkis babies will hatch within a week of each other if there is any!!

Peanut has 4 eggs now and another on the way!! she has been sitting tightly and pistachio has been a very doting husband looking after her very well. I put a box on for the blue lovies as the hen is going to lay. so will have lots of babies soon!!! i think peanuts are due on the 25th march? or mabye it was the 15th, will have to check haha. i will be leaving the parents to raise the babies for the first clutch and most likely the second clutch as well.

Update!!!! I candled 2 of the four eggs (was five but one of them broke one of the eggies:( ) The two i candled were fertile and about a week into incubation at a guess, i ussually candle chook eggs and the embryo stage is what id expect in a week old embryo in poultry. I dont usually candle eggs from birds because they are so fragile, but i just had to know if i could expect bubbies from pea and stachio!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!! sooo excited only a couple of weeks and there should be bubbies!!!! i think last time i checked they should hatch from the 13th to 15th of march:) Sooo excited i have been waiting for pea to have bubs for so long!!! hopefuly i get some heavily pied, medium pied and normal bubs from them
