Just noticed my numbers of Alexandrines had dwindled - on closer inspection they had chewed a hole in the side of the aviary & 5 of them (2 males & 3 females) have escaped. They lived in a colony that had been together for quite a few years so more then likely will stick together - Are not finger tame but most of them will take food out of your hand - Reward offered for any returns - thank you
WOULD HAVE ESCAPED SOMETIME BETWEEN 9AM WEDNESDAY & 10.30AM THURSDAY - Appreciate spreading the word by word of mouth or other forums Please contact either through the listed email or 0434 145 990 UPDATE - 8AM FRIDAY - One hen is hanging around as it's breeding mate is still in the aviary - chances of reclaiming it appear slim as it's very frightened - other 4 (2 pair) are nowhere to be seen - would probably depend on the timing of their escape as to whether they are together or not.

I hope you can get her back with her mate. Don't give up just yet, I had a IRN escape when he was about 8 weeks old and he hung around near his parents for three days before I was able to catch him. I actually had to put mum and Dad in a large parrot cage inside their aviary and leave the door ajar before he returned hence his/her name is Houdini, so there is hope yet.
