Robert has links ...thou throu my experiance they are relaxed delicate birds, personnally l don't like them boxed in for breeding cages... thou it has been happenning since l was 6 years old and more so l guess that's alright They go well with other canaries and finches providing there is space for them.Space well ,,,finch and Canary breeders we see on the net have avairies of flight.Great to see for even thou they are small birds they love space and you will enjoy there flight in them. Grass seeded weeds are a must, they love them and l find every time l carry them around the backyard near there avairy they fly to me waiting for them.. Fresh water and a canary mix l haven't had no problems.Apple quarter on a 3 time a week basis a good fruit for them, they won't eat all of it, but will have a good nibble.Remember to dispose of the fruit at the end of the day . During breeding season l feed mine half a mashed boiled egg, which they feed there young well to fill the crops. When they are in breeding mode l give them mashed egg prior to egg laying to get them used to the process of mash egg also so they know its there plus the added protein which is good for them
