Was in the supermarket, in a world of my own I hate shopping, except for my fids, when a friend I hadn't seen for yonks stopped me and the usual blah blah yakking went on, and I told her about my new additions, when she asked if I would take her two Crimson Rosellas. One she has had for about 14 mths as she rescued him from the side of the road, he had been hit by a car. He is able to get around but has a droopy wing but he would not of been able to survive if she had released him back into the wild. Then a young one ( coloured green) landed on her aviary about 12 mths ago and decided she wanted to stay, it has now got it's red and blue plumage. Linda was going to release the young one back into the wild, but I told her it would not survive as it had not learnt how to catch its food and protect itself from predators. So now I have them and they have settled in real well, I have an appointment with the vet to check them over, the vets here are fantastic and take a real interest in avian life as we have quite a few Animal Rescue sites here. So my menagerie is still growing, and there is love and room for more.

Will take pictures after the vet check and they are really settled and don't have to be moved again.
