Well I know I was supposed to be selling the 6 Bourke babies to the pet shop since I couldn't find any to swap. Took them in and while waiting I had a gander at the budgies. Lo' and behold what did I see in with the budgies? A gorgeous Rosa split Cream Bourke! There was no way I was walking out with him. As I was walking out the husband owner of the shop said "you taking my Bourke?" Yep! He says "I knew you'd come here before long Karen so I was saving him for you". LOL he knows me so well!    |

He is beautiful Bird Crazy. Congratulations.
I love Bourkes and am hoping to be able to get at least a pair before the breeding season hits. They are such delightful little birds. ;D

Awww!!! What a cutie!!! I have 4 normals but that one is so cute!! We have a H/R one at work that keeps catching my eye...rosa/pink i think? not too sure.

oooh! Courtney, is there any female's at your joint? I'm in need of a female. Saw a few at the Ipswich pet store but they wanted $55 each! No way are they worth that much! |

$55 is a bit expensive for Bourkes, how much did you pay for your boy? I paid $30 for mine at the markets.

I think he was $40. Not really sure - he was from the pet shop where I have sold birds to them for years. They always give me a discount.

I just sold two hens for $25 each.  Maybe I should have asked for more? Both are good breeders too! Sorry Karen, if I had of known I could have sold you one of mine. We are heading up to Toowoomba/Brisbane in about 2 weeks. |
