It's time for a Stormy update! We were away for a week a couple of weeks ago and Stormy went to my friends where he had a ball! He behaved really nicely and made sure he always is included - as he walks to where the action is - and always went to bed on time - as he walks to his cage and goes to bed all by himself when he's tired.
Last night he slept for the first time in his little hut, not on top of it! Will take some pics of him tonight. He still doesn't eat any veggies, but loves fruits.
I wear glasses and the little bugger always bites them, so when I was away I cleaned my glasses and where he bites them they were a bit chipped but as I'm pretty blind without my glasses I didn't see how badly. Apparently really badly because the frame broke and the lens fell out and smashed on the bathroom floor! They're $1000 glasses which were only about 2 months old!!! Lucky, I have insurance...
So far, Stormy has destroyed 2 pairs of earrings, a necklace, a table, and now my glasses... But do you think he tries to play with any of his toys??? Nope!

;D He ate the table leg while I was on the phone. Little bugger! Even my Weimaraner didn't do that!

Yeah, I've forgotten all the shirts he bite holes in...
He's got so many toys and whenever I try to play with him, he claims up on my shoulder and just does what he dos best - go for the expensive stuff!

I used to have a shirt I'd wear when I had Squee out cause he had a penchant for leaving holes in my clothes, and all jewellery would be removed before he came on me haha. I have a spare pair of glasses too that I wear when Trouble is in a 'chewy' mood - it doesn't matter if he breaks them.

I now make sure I get changed out of my work clothes and into my bird clothes before my birds come out to play

I know this may sound crazy, but if I have a hand raised bird that is a bit "chewy" I give them baby rusks. I carry them with me, and when they start getting the urge to chow down on things I give them the rusk. Sure, it makes a mess, but it is less expensive than replacing items.

Finally I remembered to take some photos of Stormy in his hut! I've ordered another one so he has one in each cage. Last night he ate some pasta with me but he did not each the veggies once again. Fruit yes, veggies no. I can sort of understand him. I'm looking forward to the Easter break! I have 5 days off and we're having some visitors but also go to a friends place (and that's all of us - 2 dogs and Stormy, OH has to work and keep the streets safe) and stay over there for a couple of days. So happy Easter to everybody!!!
