What julie said is the breeder has had a bad season with his sun conures and only has 2 chicks left so julie said i better have the money for one cause the breeder has 4 people wanting one. My mum will be getting him/her for me then i pay her back so i don't need to worry. Julie said one will be ready to go by the end of march and the other by the end of april so it looks like it doesn't matter what sex i get.So i said to julie i will take the one that is ready to go by the end of march even if its female.I just like to know the sex so its easyier to choose a name.I was the one that said i wanted a sun conure before the other people that wanted one. I said to julie i wanted one before his birds laid there eggs.Julie is also going to find out what mutation rebal and angels parents are so i can see if rebal is actually a he by the mutation of his parents. I just hope that my mum sticks to her word that she will lend me the money for my sun conure or i will have to wait until next spring to get one.

Hope you get your bird,Iknow you've been waiting anxiously. It's sometimes hardwhen you breed birds and you get a number of orders, I've found with my ringies that I might get a dozen people wanting a bird and you only get 10 chicks, as I've found out you can hang onto a bird for someone who ordered first and you end up being stuck with it when that person for some reason does'nt bother to come to get it and by the time you give up the others have already found another bird, a real pain, so I always tell people ordering a chick that I will call everyone in the order book on the same day and it will be first come first served, sometimes someone will pay a deposit and thats different but other wise it is first in first served.

i hope i do get my sun conure i've been wanting one for 2 years now and finally made the decission in december last year to get one. My parents think i'm mad spending $635 dollars on a bird but i know they will love him/her once i have him. My dad was all cranky when i got rebal but 8 hours later he comes in and talks to him and gives him a cuddle. Rebal and angel seem to go through 1 millet every hour they seem to love there millet. Rebal has done 3 watery poos since yeaterday. Julie said don't give them any veggies today and see how he goes. I did give him strawberries julie said your got to be careful when feeding them strawberries as some birds can get a pain in the tummy.

Just keep him on a seed diet for a few days Tara, and it will settle down, it's more than likely the change in diet, I seem to remember you saying that he had not been fed vegies before, just start him on peas and corn, and gradually building up to the richer foods, but let his stomach settle first. Cheers Tony
