hey yeh i hope i get money just before this season if i get a mature pair but i do prefer getting young birds instead of mature ones. i use to have eastern rosellas, pale headeds, crimsons, westerns and adelaides it took a while to get a hen but after 8months i sold them and i regret it as they were nice calm birds and hard to get. but now i am looking for a pir of tasmanian greens but no luck yet

Hi Damo and welcome.
You get your ups and down with birds.. Buying young is a great idea. But if you do know the breeder and buy older birds nothing wrong with that.

well my first one Archie is really quiet , but Chillie can scream when she gets going, but Basil takes the cake he is so loud that if i go to the park opposite me and he is in his cage outside the back garden i can hear him about 50 m or more away lol , his screeching is ear piercing , it can drive you nuts at times but outside of that he is such a character he makes us laugh , he is a plucker we adopted him the other two we bought .

yeh thanks im not sure now if ill beable to get larger parrots as i live in a built up area and probably could not house them outside because neighbours might complain you can never have to many birds or aviaries but running out of room only got like 5meters of space left only way to et more is to cut some trees down but my fathe would not like that at all, also trying to put some pics of my birds on here but cant figure it out..

Hey Damo i have 7 adult and 4 baby Eclectus. Had 6 this morning but 2 went to their new home today. I just live on a normal block and don't have a problem with any of my birds being overly noisy. But i do advise to buy young weaned birds as sometimes if you buy adults you take the risk of buying other people's problems. Love to see pic's of your flock as well.
