Hi all, I have noticed in all the bird information that you guys in the eastern states esspecially QLD have quite a few seminars and the like you could attend to learn more about Parrot training and behaviour. Does anyone know af any that run in WA, unfortunately we don't have a Currumbin Sanctuary here, wish we did I first went there in the early 70's while on holidays and I took my kids last time we were in QLD for holidays. I think we all would have gone at some time in our lives!

I guess alot are hosted in qld simply cause they are either run by the parrot society of australia which is based in qld ... and same with most of the behaviour people live in qld ...
Lots of people travel to these things from all over australia ... but you can pay Jim McKendry to visit your state and arrange a workshop for yourself ...
Though a couple of us have just found out how much work that can be ...
i would say if there is something you wanna travel interstate to see would have to be the Parrot Convention that Parrot society of australia put on every 2 years ...
the next one will be Parrots 2010 in brisbane somewhere ...
There is also heaps of stuff online that you can read and watch ...

Nat (Smiley) asked Zarita from PRC what this lady was like who is holding the parrot workshop in perth and Zarita speaks highly of her ...
So it could be well worth the $75!!!!
