This is Toby taken this morning. He will let me do this to him. With me he has no issues at all. I think he's and angel for me & a devil for his mum ;D He is such a darling.

I guess it just comes down to the fact that i was his Mum from around 3 weeks old, we built a strong bond, then there is the trust. Plus i know how to handle them, how to read their body language. And most of all how to keep them happy. After hand rearing Eclectus babies for the last 6 years i should have some knowledge of what they are like. Also being apart of this forum I have learned a whole lot more how these birds react once adopted. But i need to know a lot more as well. I always worried about my babies when they went to their new homes. Some customers keep in touch. Others you never hear from again. So to have the opportunity to spend this week with Toby has been a joy. At the end of the day i am sure he will settle into his new family in time. Thanks everyone for you kind words.
