Who has seen Budgies in the Wild?

One of the absolute highlights of my trip to OZ was seeing wild budgies! I first saw them in outback regions of Western OZ and then in Outback Queensland. I just couldnt get enough of these little beauties. I was emotional at times as I watched hundreds of them wheeling past me at drinking holes remembering how I had dreamed of seeing this since I was a youngster. What stunning memories and I am so glad I came to Australia!

I have seen them up in the Wilcannia area quite a few years ago. They are comical to watch when they fly off in a huge group of green. Glad you enjoyed Australia, we think it is pretty good too.

I did on the wekend, they always sound 'busy' chatting away.
This is one of the only good things about Alice Springs, the wild life. Budgies,cuckoos,kites and some majors the other day. This and the lovely landscapes are what I will miss when we return to WA

What are the bad things Ozwell?? I have seen them only on a DVD. Hundreds of them!
