Hi, my vet has recommended that I feed this to my Turquoise Parrot. I never knew bird pellets existed until yesterday! They seem quite expensive, but the vet said its very good stuff. We only started feeding it today so can't comment on how good it is yet.

Just be careful you dont take the seed away and just feed pellets ... most birds will have to be weaned off seed and onto the pellets ...
also with pellets most birds will crumble them up and alot of people throw that away which will end up beind very expensive ...
what you can do with the crumbles is then sprinkle that over something else the bird has like fruit and veg or whatever ...

Thanks for that. I have started off by mixing the pellets 50/50 with his seed. He gets fruit and veggies too, so that should be a balanced diet. right?

i think that would probably be a good diet for a turquoise parrot ...
I'd be highly surprised if it switches to pellets cause they are in the grass parrot family they eat seeds in the wild i believe ...
