Fledglings galore this morning!

:DThis morning I checked my flights and I now have a lovely parson Finch on the sticks. Cream Cock/Normal hen parents but is looking normal at the moment.
Also a Lovely normal Diamond Doves which is not a bad flyer already!
White Java's my first ever. They picked the top corner Budgie box which is about the only one I am unable to check and I found two on the sticks. one pure white and one white/saddleback? I think i saw another one poking the head out of the box? This is the first year I have kept white Java's so I am really chuffed. Only problem is I was unable to closed ring them?
I also found a freshly hatched Chinese Painted Quails in the incubator. He is now in the brooder making plenty of noise. He/she is normal colour but comes from a normal cock and pure white hen?

Good for you, what a beautiful way to start your day. Parsons are my favourite finch. I was ecstatic when mine had babies. I feel your happiness. I didn't care if mine never had any young, but when they did........it was just amazing.

Thanks mate. The little Parson is doing great, I am really chuffed. Two more Chinese Painted Quails hatched this morning one normal and one white so i hope they survive and do well as well?

That is great news. My little hen parson is doing it tough over here at the moment. It has been so cold, I have actually moved them into the bird room and put them under lights to keep them warm.

Thanks for the lovely replies. Today I have had even more. Fawn Java Chicks, African Silverbills more Chinese painted Quails more Society Finches, more Diamond Doves and eight newly hatched Normal Java Sparrows (2nd brood for them this year?). I'm loving it at the moment!
