"someone save me..........."
Are you kidding? It's too late to save you now. It's started and you will probably never stop. I'm proud of your Laraine. You will love your superbs, they really are an exquisite bird. My male is really chatty, and he mimics most of my other birds and their calls.
I keep telling myself - no more birds - ..............yeah right. I have got Mick building more cages as we speak!

I pick them up tomorrow. They come from right up in the Blue Mountains and I wasn't going to travel that far. I just don't have the time these days. It turns out the husband works 2 km from my house. So I don't have to travel far. In the photos they look like nice birds.

I picked them up on Wednesday, nice looking birds. My next problem is who to put them in with, I don't have room for them to be by themselves. Does anyone know about their temperament, I have heard they are placid. Could I put them in with my tiels.

I've never had a problem mixing them with other birds, but they are highly unlikely to breed unless they have their own flight. Should be fine with tiels in a holding situation.
cheers,
Mike

Does anyone know about their temperament, I have heard they are placid. Could I put them in with my tiels. I have mine in a mixed aviary with Ringnecks and Alex's and they are all fine in there together. Mine are only last years birds, so I didn't expect them to breed that is why they are in the mixed aviary. Next year I will put them on their own and see how they go. Glad to hear you are happy with them, they really are a pretty bird. And mine are very chatty!
