I found these short little vids of the palm cockatoos in there natural habitat very interesting and what smart birds they are.
I also love there noises they make, they do remind me of normal people lol

They are wonderful! We had the dvd out several times as we were facinated by the Palm Cockatoos...agree about their greeting, we idiots kept doing imitation "greetings" for days after watching the dvd. Thanks for posting this.

I have seen that before ..... is on the dvd land of parrots??? or parrots of oz or something ........ it was on tv a while ago and my husband kindly burned it for me?? They are beautiful aren't they.......stunning.

Hi Kenny, I wish i knew but i don't think we are aloud to keep them. Pretty sure they are protected. Mike may know more about that. As far as i know there are supposed to be some in Zoos. If i could have any parrot that would be the one.

we can keep these in the uk but they are very expensive, i know someone who has a pr and have heard there are around 25prs in uk, the last pr i saw 4 sale were £22000 and i expect more now. they are very unusual and prone to aggression.
